Turnaround Time

All design requests have a strict 24-48 hour turnaround window unless otherwise noted by extenuating circumstances (such as travel or illness). If a request cannot be completed during that time window due to scope, a progress update will be provided instead. It’s ideal to convert large tasks, such as full landing pages or app redesigns, into projects which can have several design requests linked to them. For example, a landing page project may have a hero, FAQ, and pricing section as linked design requests.

For users on the Design + Code plan, development projects may, by nature, take a longer duration and more often may result in updates delivered during the turnaround window instead of full deliverables.

Any hiccups in communication or delayed responses to requests for information from Tyler may ultimately delay deliverables past their turnaround window.

Timelines & Prioritization

Design requests will be addressed from the top of the list to the bottom unless they specify an explicit due date in the ticket properties.

Due dates are encouraged if a project follows a particular timeline, so long as the due date is not less than 48 hours from when the ticket was filed.

Meetings & Synchronous Communication

While asynchronous communication is preferred, it’s understandable that sometimes the best way to communicate is face-to-face. A Google Meet scheduling link is provided in your designer dashboard for this exact purpose.

While Kojo allows for these video calls, it’s important to note that recurring calls that fall within the turnaround window are not allowed. This includes daily stand-ups or syncs. Allowing these encourages design requests to be completed faster than they otherwise would.

Sharing Work

For publicly available screens (such as landing pages), as well as scrapped concepts and illustrations, work may be anonymized and shared publicly on X (formerly Twitter) to help build Kojo’s brand.

If any project that meets this criteria should not be shared in any way, please let Tyler know ASAP.
